About Me

Lawyer • Entrepreneur • Website Designer • Mother • Wife

Hello, I'm Ama Adjei. I am a lawyer, entrepreneur, website designer, and mother with a passion for building meaningful businesses, creating opportunities, and helping others navigate growth with confidence and purpose. For as long as I can remember, I have been drawn to both problem-solving and entrepreneurship. As a child, I would create make-believe shops and "sell" items to other children during play. At the time, I had no idea I was developing the entrepreneurial mindset that would later shape much of my life. Today, I balance a legal career, growing businesses, creative work, and motherhood. While these roles may seem different, they are all connected by a common purpose: helping people, creating value, and building things that matter.

My Journey

My educational journey began at Aburi Girls' Senior High School, where I studied General Arts. I later pursued LLB at the GIMPA School of Law before continuing to The Gambia Law School, where I obtained my Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC). In November 2019, I was called to the Bar and officially became a Lawyer. I returned to complete my professional legal training at the Ghana School of Law, where I earned my Qualifying Certificate in Law (QCL).

Law & Advocacy

For over six years, I have worked with Amoako Adjei Law Consult, gaining valuable experience across a wide range of legal matters. My work as a lawyer is grounded in professionalism, integrity, and a genuine commitment to helping people navigate legal challenges with confidence and clarity. I believe the law should not only resolve disputes but also empower individuals to make informed decisions and protect their rights. Beyond my professional practice, I am passionate about access to justice and regularly undertake pro bono work in matters relating to: • Human Rights • Domestic Violence • Gender Issues • Marital Causes • Women's Rights and Empowerment Supporting vulnerable individuals and helping people navigate difficult circumstances remains one of the most meaningful aspects of my legal career.

Entrepreneurship

My entrepreneurial journey began long before I understood what entrepreneurship actually meant. As a child, I often created imaginary businesses and sold make-believe products to friends during play. Looking back, those moments revealed an early fascination with business, creativity, and problem-solving. Years later, while attending university, I started buying and selling products to earn an income. Although personal circumstances eventually required me to step back and focus fully on building my legal career, the entrepreneurial drive never disappeared. Today, as I have become more established in the legal profession, I have returned to entrepreneurship with renewed purpose and clarity. Through ventures such as East Edit and East House Studio, I continue to explore opportunities to create value, solve problems, and build brands that serve people meaningfully.

Design & Digital Strategy

Alongside law and entrepreneurship, I have developed a strong passion for technology, design, and digital innovation. I am a self-taught website designer and have been designing websites since 2017. Over the years, I have worked with both small and established businesses, helping them create professional online platforms that strengthen their brands and support business growth. To deepen my understanding of the digital landscape, I also obtained certification in Digital Marketing through Google. My areas of focus include: • Website Design • Digital Strategy • Brand Positioning • User Experience • Online Business Development I enjoy helping businesses translate their vision into a professional and impactful digital presence.

Motherhood & Growth

Perhaps the role that has shaped me most is motherhood. Being a mother has challenged me to grow in ways I never imagined. It has taught me patience, resilience, adaptability, and the importance of being intentional with my time and energy. Every day, I am learning how to navigate the beautiful and often complex balance between motherhood, legal practice, entrepreneurship, and personal growth. It is a journey that continues to inspire many of the reflections, lessons, and conversations I share through this platform.
